Howard Dean Visits Alabama BIRMINGHAM, AL (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, will make two fundraising stops in Alabama Thursday.

Dean spoke to supporters at a 50 dollar per person breakfast at the Sheraton Civic Center in Birmingham at 7:30 a-m. He'll also attend a one-thousand dollar-per-person luncheon at a home in Mountain Brook.

An Alabama Democratic Party official said both events will raise money for the D-N-C.

Alabama's presidential primary is February 5th.
