Montgomery Cracks Down on Noise
Officers have begun enforcing a zero tolerance policy toward violators.
Captain Huey Thornton, a department spokesman, said citizens complaints led to the formation of special details designed to reduce the number of offenders.
Thornton said violating the city's noise ordinance will mean a 211 dollar fine for the first offense and 341 bucks for each additional offense.
