FEMA Reslease More Disaster Aid
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said residents who suffered storm-related losses can apply for aid starting today by calling and registering with FEMA at 1-800-621-3362.
An F-One tornado in Jefferson County was nearly a mile in length and an estimated 400 yards wide. A disaster recovery center opens at 8 a-m at the Midway Methodist Church in Adamsville.
Residents in Coffee, Dale, Dallas, Henry, Montgomery and Wilcox counties also qualify for individual assistance.
