Enterprise Announces School Plans
(2007-03-08)
(APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - School administrators in tornado-damaged Enterprise have announced plans to get students back into the classroom. Because of time lost caused by the deadly March first twister - Enterprise students won't have a spring break this year, but will allow high school seniors to graduate on time.

The only holidays to be observed will be Good Friday and Memorial Day.

All Enterprise students will return to school next Wednesday, March 14th. High school students will attend class at the Enterprise-Ozark Community College's Enterprise campus.

Hillcrest Elementary School students will attend classes at Holly Hill Elementary from 1-30 p-m to 5-30 p-m. Students who normally attend Holly Hill will attend classes from 8 a-m until noon.

Classes for high school students at the community college will run from 12-30 p-m until 5-30 p-m, Monday through Thursday.

The class time Enterprise students have missed since the tornado struck will be counted as spring break, so students can graduate on time.
