Investigators Find More Tornado Damage
(APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - Tuesday's round of severe weather did result in the formation of tornadoes. National Weather Service meteorologists have added two more Alabama counties to the list.

In a statement, forecasters said survey teams determined that an F-zero twister touched down in the Newbern community in Hale County and extended into western sections of Perry County.

The small tornado, with winds estimated at 65 to 75 miles-per-hour, damaged several old barns and uprooted dozens of trees in the Newbern area. Minor damage occurred in Perry County.

Wednesday, meteorologists confirmed two other tornadoes, both F-One's, caused sporadic property damage in Bibb and Autauga counties. NO one was injured.
