Retired Judge Dies
Robertson served as a district judge in Talladega County before being elected to the state civil appeals court in 1988. He served on the appellate court for 12 years, serving as presiding judge for 10 of those years. He also served as presiding judge of the State Court of the Judiciary, which hears disciplinary charges against state judges.
Robertson is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and David Kaiser.

Bob Martin, editor of the Montgomery Independent and a friend of the family, said Robertson died of a heart attack at his farm near Talladega.Robertson served as a district judge in Talladega County before being elected to the state civil appeals court in 1988. He served on the appellate court for 12 years, serving as presiding judge for 10 of those years. He also served as presiding judge of the State Court of the Judiciary, which hears disciplinary charges against state judges.
