Say the phrase "designer fashions," and that might conjure up images of supermodels in Paris or New York. Now, clothing designers in Birmingham are getting their chance to spotlight some of their work. The Second Annual Birmingham Fashion Week has grown from humble beginnings last year. Alabama Public Radio's Ryan Vasquez reports on how this year's event includes the Rising Design Star Competition.
