PRNDI Best Use of Sound--Alabama Public Radio--Seashells and Gunpowder
(2012-03-07)
(APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - Alabama Public Radio's Pat Duggins reports on the concerns of Gulf coast tourism businesses following the 2010 oil spill. The summer of 2011 will be the first true indication of the damage done to the visitor industry. Local fishermen tried to salvage the lost 2010 season with the National Shrimp Festival. The 150th anniversary of the Civil War, and Alabama's role in it, may also help. © Copyright 2013, APR - Alabama Public Radio
