Phoenix Fire Museum Rises Again
(APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - One of the last coastal Alabama attractions damaged during Hurricane Katrina has re-opened. The Phoenix Fire Museum in downtown Mobile is once again welcoming visitors more than a year and a half after the storm ripped its roof off and flooded the historic building. But like the mythical creature that is its namesake, the museum is rising from its own ashes. Mobile firefighter Kent Landsbert takes Alabama Public Radio on a tour.
