PRI's The World - Geo Quiz Podcast 438
As Far Away As You Can Get Today's Geo Quiz takes us out to sea... 1700 miles off the coast of Africa. There are half a dozen volcanic islands scattered here, about midway between South Africa and Argentina. We want you to name this South Atlantic outpost. This archipelago is part of a British overseas territory. The main island has been called the " Most Remote Inhabited Island on Earth." How remote? Well, the mail arrives by ship only a few times a year. We'll talk to the island's postmistress, when you name the location.
