The Binghamton University Music Department presents "Early On"
Online interview audio now availableGuitarist Paul Sweeny talks with WSKG's Bill SnyderEnjoy an evening of classical music with Peter Browne, keyboards, Barbara Kaufman, recorders, Christina Salasny, soprano, Stephen Stalker, cello and Paul Sweeny, guitar as they perform in a concert entitled "Early On". This versatile chamber group's performance will focus on early and recent music from Italy and Great Britain. The program will include works by familiar composers such as Handel, Dowland, Britten and A. Scarlatti, along with little-known gems by Barsanti, Duarte, Hurford and more! The concert will be performed on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building Room 21 on the University campus. Tickets for the concert are $10 general public; $5 faculty/staff/seniors; free for students (sponsored by the Binghamton University Music Department).
