Online interview audio now available Photographers Yva Momatiuk and John Eastcott speak with WSKG's Bill Snyder Modern Masters of photography as art and as document, Yva Momatiuk who hails from Poland and John Eastcott, born in New Zealand, have been combining their talents for more than three decades, roaming the world together and exploring its hidden natural sanctuaries.

Their fieldwork took them from the vastness of the Arctic to the icy realm of the Antarctic, from the windswept Pribiloff Archipilago in the Bering Seato the Australian outback, steamy swamps of Louisiana grasslands of Wyoming, and from lofty peaks of the Patagonian Andes to majestic old-growth forest of Canada's Vancouver Island. For years, they followed wild Mustangs of the American West, marine mammals and penguins in the polar regions, and formidable animals of Alaska and the Yukon Territory in Canada.

Yva And John have documented many environmental issues, including global climate changes. They have received a number of international awards for their imagery and have had their photographs printed in the most prestigious publications. USPS use one of their images as the international air mail stamp for many years.
