Franklin Stage Company presents More Tales from the Empire
Franklin Stage Company presents More Tales from the Empire
Online interview audio now available Author Tom Morgan speaks with WSKG's Bill Snyder Franklin Stage Company presents the final two performances in its 2010 FSC Hosts season, the company's 14th consecutive Admission Free season in Chapel Hall in Franklin. MORE TALES FROM THE EMPIRE is a new play created and performed by Tom Morgan and directed by Arnie Drogen. Morgan, the syndicated columnist and celebrated radio host, returns to Chapel Hall with this eagerly anticipated follow-up to his powerful and poignant TALES FROM THE EMPIRE: A JOURNEY BACK TO THE OLD EMPIRE HOTEL, which premiered at the Franklin Stage Company in July 2009.

Tom Morgan's family once owned the Empire Hotel in Gilbertsville, NY. In MORE TALES FROM THE EMPIRE, Morgan expands upon the themes and experiences of the first play, again portraying an astonishing array of colorful characters, chronicling their exploits with humor, love and pathos, and inviting the audience on a journey of self discovery to that proverbial foreign country - the past.
