Onlind interview audio now availableClarinetist Timothy Perry speaks with WSKG's Bill SnyderClarinetist Timothy Perry and pianist Margaret Reitz reunite in a concert with a spring bouquet of soothing, sensuous and surprising British masterworks for clarinet in "Sweet Albion" on Saturday, April 10th at 8 p.m. in the Anderson Center Chamber Hall. This aural expression of the culture of "Sweet Albion" draws from the enduring influences of the Catholic and Anglican churches, the rich folk-song repertoire of the rural countryside, and the powerful sense of "English Traditions" that runs from ancient times to the present. The program includes diverse works by G. F. Handel, Charles Villiers Stanford, Thea Musgrave and Arthur Benjamin. Soprano Judy Berry joins as guest artist for little-known gems by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Sir Arthur Bliss.
