Begin each month in a unique and stylish atmosphere at First Fridays. The Rockwell Museum of Western Art is excited to announce a new program series called First Fridays: Connect with the Rockwell.
Kick off your weekend with an insider's look into the Rockwell Museum's fine art collection while enjoying Finger Lakes wine and cheese tastings. Relax in the breathtaking ambiance of the Rockwell Museum with friends both old and new. First Fridays is free and open to the public.
Just a few steps from the Museum, continue your evening in Corning's Gaffer District by enjoying the unique dining experiences offered in the District.
The opening night of First Fridays will be held on *Friday, February 5, 2010 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and will feature wines from Atwater Estate Vineyards located on Seneca Lake. (www.atwatervineyards.com)
For the summer months of June, July, and August, First Fridays will be dedicated to serving young families. The young and young-at-heart are invited to participate in a variety of drop-in family activities. Admission and activities are free of charge.

About the Rockwell Museum of Western Art
Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Rockwell Museum of Western Art is located in the center of the Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York Sate and in the heart of Corning's Gaffer District. The Museum is open to the public seven days a week; hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Membership to the Museum includes yearlong free admission. In these tough economic times, we recognize that the concept of "community" means so much. In response, we are offering free admission on Sundays now through April 2010.
