This October marks the 50th anniversary of Rod Serling's groundbreaking television series "The Twilight Zone," which had its first airing October 2, 1959, on CBS.

Over a four day period beginning October 1st, fans from around the country will have an opportunity to celebrate and honor our hometown iconic genius.

WSKG TV plays a special role in this celebration. On Saturday, October 3 at 8pm, WSKG TV presents The Twilight Zone LIVE - reenactments of two Twilight Zone scripts, "Walking Distance" and "Mirror Image." Each written by Rod Serling and inspired by Binghamton locales. The show stars local actors, directed by Bill Gorman. The broadcast will also feature a short documentary on Rod Serling produced by WSKG's Emmy award-winning producer Brian Frey.
