Many people know Jan De Angelo as the organist at Church or the choir master/music teacher at Seton, as an accompanist for local singers, a member of "Swing Street" or in the background of De Angelo Family Productions. The truth is that Jan is a multi talented performer who can sing, dance, play several instruments, produce arrangements for various single and multiple instruments and compose classical and modern works.

Jan will take the stage as a solo performer for two performances at the FIREHOUSE STAGE this weekend in a Cabaret format. The first act will focus on Jan the pianist and singer. The second act will feature some of his original material and will include a few friends and family. While the majority of the show is piano and vocal, there will also be a solo by local opera singer Cynthia Cleary. Jan will perform not only Broadway standards but also classical fare and tunes from his Italian background. There will be a few surprises in the two act performance.

"The more I worked with Jan as a pianist, the more I learned about his skill as a composer and arranger. I also heard him sing and asked him why he didn't do more of it. He is also an accomplished dancer and, I am told, even a good cook!" says Executive Director of the Goodwill Theatre, Naima Kradjian, who handles programming for the newly created FIREHOUSE STAGE.

"We felt it was time to book Jan as a single artist and bring him to the foreground. He is very talented and charismatic. We are very excited about this upcoming show. It will showcase a familiar artist in a fresh new way" says Kradjian.

Jan will perform Saturday evening at 8:00 PM. There is also an optional dinner prior to the show for the Saturday evening performance. The dinner begins at 6:00 PM
The show on Sunday begins at 2:00 PM. Both shows have a short intermission and run 2 hours including the intermission. Tickets are $15.00 for Adults and $12.00 for Senior and Students for either show. The price for the dinner and show on Saturday night is $60 dollars a person.
