The Southern Illinois Symphony opens its 2008-2009 Season this week with a performance at Shryock Auditorium. Bach, Schubert and Mozart will be featured at the concert Tuesday night at 7:30pm.
The University of Illinois Extension Office in Marion is hosting a program for diabetics this Wednesday. All About Carbs will feature Jane Rogers, RN. The seminar is Wednesday at 1:30pm at the office in Marion. Call (618)993-3304 for more information.
The Intercultural Dialogue Student Association of SIUC is hosting the Dialogue Iftar Dinner next week in Carbondale. Featured Speaker is Fr. Thomas Michel, SJ. The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at SIUC is hosting a panel discussion on today's diverse society. The panel includes keynote speakers from all over the nation who will focus on pressing issues of race and immigration.
