Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge is accepting submissions for its annual photo contest. Pictures can be dropped off anytime during the month of September. Winners will be announced in October, with an exhibit opening October 12th. For more information, call (618)998-5933.
A music concert to benefit Pancreatic Cancer awareness and research is set for this weekend in Raddle, Illinois. Raddle the Bottoms features several performers and events. It's Sunday, September 21st from 11:00am-8:00pm. For more information call Julie at (618)521-4009.

Rebuilding Together Carbondale is hosting a yard sale this weekend to raise money for rebuilding efforts. You can go to Prairie Living at Chautauqua (955 Villa Court) from 7:00am-Noon on Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Rebuilding Together Workday at the Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale (250 N Springer Street).
