Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge is accepting submissions for its annual photo contest. Pictures can be dropped off anytime during the month of September. Winners will be announced in October, with an exhibit opening October 12th. For more information, call (618)998-5933.
The SIUC Wellness Center is offering wellness workshops during the fall semester. The first is These Hands Don't Hurt , focusing on ending violence against women. The workshop is at 5:00pm today (9/17/08) at the Student Health Center.
The annual Behavioral Health, Aging and Wellness Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 19th from 7:30-3:45 at the Four Points Sheraton in Fairview Heights. The focus is Diversity in Aging: Creating a Culture of Care . For more information, call (618)877-4420 ext 3013 or www.chestnut.org.
The Marianne Webb and David N Bateman Distinguished Organ Recital Series presents Martin Jean this Friday at Shryock Auditorium. The concert begins at 7:30pm.
