Former SIUC Employee Pleads Guilty to Stealing

(wsiu) - A former Southern Illinois University Carbondale employee admits to stealing from the school.

Forty-one-year-old Rhonda Musgrave of Anna pleaded guilty in Jackson County court to a misdemeanor theft charge. She received two years probation and agreed to repay 20-thousand dollars to SIU-C.

As an administrative assistant at the university, Musgrave was accused of illegally using a credit card to buy personal items.

The felony charge of misusing a credit card was dropped.
