Secretary of State White Talks About Legal Driving Age
The group would like to teens to have to wait until they are 17 or 18 before they can get their driver's license. But Secretary White says the concern shouldn't be so much the driver's age...but their lack of experience.
White says that's why his office has focused on getting kids lots of experience before they are granted full driving privileges. That includes spending more time driving with mom and dad and restricting how many passengers they have in the car when they first get their license.
