Disaster Loan Center to open in Harrisburg
(2008-09-08)
(wsiu) - The U.S. Small Business Administration says it is setting up an office in Saline County to help people affected by severe storms and flooding back in March.

The SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center opens Tuesday in the Workforce and Illinois Small Business Development Center in Harrisburg.

Homeowners can receive up to two hundred thousand dollars in loans to replace or repair structural damage. Homeowners and renters can apply for up to forty thousand dollars to help with damage done to personal property.

Businesses can apply for loans of up to two million dollars. The two millions dollars can be used not only for property damage, but also to provide assistance for any lost revenue.

The Harrisburg office closes on Friday. But those seeking assistance can apply through November third by logging on to sba.gov or by calling 1-800-659-2955.
