Bright Start Offers New Scholarship Contest CHICAGO, IL (wsiu) - Illinois moms and dads with parenting challenges can now turn those hardships into dollars thanks to a new scholarship program.

The Bright Start College Savings Program will give a thousand dollars to the parent that creates the best commercial dealing with everyday challenges of raising young children.

Videos must be between thirty seconds and two minutes. Parents must also create a slogan at the end of the ad that fits the "fill in the blank is hard paying for college shouldn't be" script.

Winning videos will be shown on TV stations throughout Illinois starting in December.
