The American Red Cross is hosting blood drives today. You can go to Elverado High School in Elkville from 11:00am-4:00pm, New Life Church of God in Benton from 2:00pm-6:00pm, or Lake Creek Masonic Lodge in Johnston City from 2:30pm-6:30pm. For more information on blood donation, call 1-800 GIVE LIFE.The next Ralph Anderson Interfaith Dialogue will focus on "Greed, the Economy and Religion". Carbondale First United Methodist Church, Southern Illinois Reading Council and Temple Beth Jacob are hosting international author Marion Blumenthal Lazan. Ms. Lazan will speak tomorrow (Tues. Oct 20) at 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church. Lazan wrote "Four Perfect Pebbles" and is one of a few remaining Holocaust survivors.
