The Collinsville Republican spent more than three hours today (Friday) answering questions from House investigators, and explaining how he acted to stop ex-congressman Mark Foley from e-mailing a Louisiana page late last year. Shimkus has said he kept two other lawmakers, who also oversee the pages, in the dark because the boy's parents had asked him not to tell them.
