The state already leads the country in ethanol fueled cars. More than 400,000 vehicles are working on E-eighty-five, a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.

High gas prices have most of us looking for ways to make a gallon of gas go farther. Especially drivers of SUV's. Researchers from UT-Austin and members of the Clean Cities coalition have been working with Automaker General Motors on ways to make SUV's more fuel efficient.
