A child care center, specializing in serving autistic and other developmentally delayed children will launch this fall in Kalamazoo. The Kalamazoo Autism Center is a pilot project, it will open next week in the existing Child Development Center. Western Michigan University Psychology Professor Dick Mallot, a well-known expert on autism, says he initially conceived of the center to supplement the teaching autistic children receive in schools:null
