Apple Harvest Yields Conflict Between Workers, Farmers and Feds ROCHESTER, NY (wrvo) - There just aren't enough people to pick apples-or at least people who are documented. That's what farmers in rural Wayne County say. So Latino immigrants, some here legally, some not, pick the apples instead. Those who support the migrant workers say the population is being harassed, even stalked, by Border Patrol agents.
