An historical presentation by Alethea "Lee" Connolly, a researcher and writer, high school history teacher as well as being a literacy teacher in Louisiana, a newspaper writer and a genealogy coordinator for Project Roots who will speak on early abolition activities in the Town of Manlius and Onondaga County, New York and some of the oppositional tension with the political strategies of Gerrit Smith of Peterboro, the famous abolitionist.
