On Sunday, September 22, Mike Hoke and the musicians of Craobh Dugan, of Utica, will play a concert of Celtic fiddle music, from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, September 23, at the North American Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame and Museum, 1121 Comins Rd., Osceola.. This free concert is funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency.
Among the Irish tunes for the concert will be jigs, hornpipes, marches, slides, and reels. Also included are waltzes and polkas.
This Season’s Final Event at the Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame, from 12:00 Noon-5 p.m., Sunday, September 29 will be the “Old Timers Fiddlers’ and Founders’ Reunion and Roger Thesier House Party” featuring a Dish-to-Pass lunch at 12:00 Noon, plus Long-Time Members’ Reminiscences and Open Mike performances -1:00-5:00 p.m. The Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame and Museum will be open for viewing all afternoon and all the facilities are handicapped accessible and enclosable in the event of bad weather.
