Tompkins/Cortland Home Builders & Remodelers Association announced a new addition to their 2013 25th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show! They are now designated an official NYS Farmers Market! TCBRA will offer free promotional booths to local food farmers, wineries and microbreweries with free food tastings at their 25th Annual Home & Garden Show location at the TC3 Campus in Dryden! This great booth opportunity has also been extended to local community restaurants, bakeries and caterers! The spring show will be a great place for you to sample free food & drink tastings from your favorite wineries, microbreweries, restaurants, bakeries and local caterers and farms! The 25th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show is sponsored this year by the Finger Lakes Radio Group (based in Geneva) plus TCBRA. The show dates are March 9-10 in the Borg Warner Morse TEC Sports Complex at TC3 College in Dryden. The 2013 show will feature live radio broadcasts, exhibitors, seminars and demo events; including an ‘interactive’ Renewable Energy Educational Display on Wind, Solar and Geothermal-great for kids of all ages, plus Woman Build from Habitat for Humanity, FingerLakesWeather.com, Tompkins Chamber of Commerce speaks on ‘Affordable Care Act’ impact on you, Radon in your home, Center for the Advancement of Roofing Excellence, Gas & Oil Drilling Leases as well as many others. Exhibits will highlight all of the latest home decor trends, the finest home improvement and landscape ideas, wind & solar energy, kitchen & bath, alternative energy, sustainability methods, log & timber companies, green building, energy star builders, creative concepts for entertaining and much more. There is also a large Non Profit Exhibitor Area where local agencies can promote and inform the public on their organization mission. During it's two-day run, the 25th Annual Home & Garden Show will feature three local radio station live appearances with sponsor Z95.5 (Ithaca’s #1 Music Channel) opening the show on Saturday from 10-Noon, followed by Lite Rock 97.3 from 1-3, and Oldies Radio 101.5 on Sunday! Presented all weekend are homeowner workshops, exhibits, seminars and demonstrations designed to provide guests with ideas and inspiration as they get ready to tackle their next home project -- or simply prepare their homes for the coming summer months. $5 weekend admission with $1 of each donated to Habitat for Humanity!
