Jack Moore, Jill Pasternak, heard on FM/HD1 and the Classical Stream This is your opportunity to request the classical pieces you want to hear. Join the fun! Send an email to: Requests@wrti.org
Just tell us: the name of the classical work, the name of the composer, your name and the city you live in, if you're a WRTI Member, and any comments you may have about why you're requesting this particular piece.
This is how it works: From the 50 to 60 requests received each week, Program Director Jack Moore selects 10 to 15 pieces that balance each other when played during the three-hour program. The three hours sound very similar to regular classical music programming - the exception being that the host mentions the name of the person requesting the music.
Bill McGlaughlin, heard on HD-2 and the classical stream Join Bill McGlaughlin every weeknight from 6 to 7 pm as he delves into a wide assortment of topics in classical music. Each weekly five-program series builds off a single theme ranging from composer biographies to explorations of various cultures, musical styles, and time periods.
Peter Van de Graaf, heard on HD-2 and the classical stream Host Peter Van de Graaff draws music selections from all eras, but focuses on works from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras.
While focusing on the standards of the repertoire, the show goes beyond that and draws from the rich and varied music that comprises all of what we call "classical music," shared in an interesting manner.
