Bill allows for buying RI hospitals in bulk

PROVIDENCE,RI (RIPR) - This afternoon, a House committee on Smith Hill will review legislation that changes a law governing the sale and mergers of local hospitals. The bill itself is only a paragraph, but the language could have a massive effect on Rhode Island's hospital system. Morning Edition host Elisabeth Harrison spoke with Rhode Island Public Radio's health care reporter Megan Hall about the proposal.
