Miss Demeanor: How a Pumpkin Helped Saved a Life

Growers across Rhode Island plant pumpkin seeds in hopes of grabbing the title for biggest pumpkin at annual contests. Very few growers last year can say their pumpkin helped them get their lives in order, but very few growers were tending to their pumpkin behind prison bars.
