The Pench: A union president gives his point of view

For the second installment of our series looking at the state's pension crisis, we look at the largest public union in Rhode Island. They filed a lawsuit claiming public employees have a legal right to collect the pensions. If a judge agrees, it will be difficult, if not impossible for state lawmakers to decrease the pension benefits for state workers who have already retired. WRNI Political Analyst Scott Mackay sat down with Council 94 President J. Michael Downey to talk about The Pench.
