Open House on Oil Spill Response in Iberia Parish
Representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard, BP, federal and state agencies, and partner agencies responding to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill will hold an open house in Iberia Parish on this evening.
Residents can talk one-on-one with experts about the techniques, strategies and materials being used in the spill response.
Claims representatives will be available for questions or concerns residents might have on the claims process.
The event will happen at Caneview Elementary School in New Iberia this evening from 6 to 8.

Residents have a chance to get first hand answers from state and federal authorities working on the Gulf Oil spill response efforts. Representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard, BP, federal and state agencies, and partner agencies responding to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill will hold an open house in Iberia Parish on this evening.
