La. Senate picks N.O. retiree for ethics board BATON ROUGE, LA. (AP) (wrkf) - The Louisiana Senate has voted to name a New Orleans retiree as the newest member of the state Board of Ethics.

Senators voted 25-3 to put Gary Hymel, a retired federal lobbyist, on the board.

Senators voting against the nomination were Francis Thompson of Delhi, Yvonne Dorsey of Baton Rouge and Nick Gautreaux of Meaux. © Copyright 2009, wrkf
