Hurricanes: La NAACP postpones state conference BATON ROUGE, LA. (AP) (wrkf) - The Louisiana NAACP has postponed its state conference until further notice because of damage around the state from Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

The conference had been scheduled September 25th in Lake Charles.
