73,000 without power in La. from Gustav BATON ROUGE, LA. (AP) (wrkf) - Over 73,000 electrical customers in Louisiana are still without power because of Hurricane Gustav.

The state Public Service Commission reported Thursday that 33 percent of businesses and households are without power in Iberville Parish.

Other parishes with high outage figures are Lafourche, East Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, Terrebonne and West Feliciana.

Over 1.3 million customers around the state were without electricity the day after Gustav struck 11 days ago. © Copyright 2009, wrkf
