Lincoln Bicentennial Reaches Two-Thirds of Goal
Chuck Scholz says local support will more than compensate for state cuts for the celebration.
The money will be used for enhancements to the debate site in Washington Park including granite slabs with Lincoln quotes and 19 wayside tables each covering a different part of the debate story.
Quincy will celebrate the anniversary next October 11-13.
