Gov. Attends Cubs Send-off CHICAGO, IL (wqub) - Rainy weather couldn't keep hundreds of Chicago Cubs fans from rallying in Daley Plaza today .Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was among the fans celebrating the Cubs' division championship.
He told the crowd he looks to Cubs manager Lou Piniella for inspiration in governing the state.

"As the governor i stopped asking myself first the question, is it the right thing or the wrong thing. now the first question i ask myself when i govern illinois is what would lou do?"

The Cubs play game one of the National League Division Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
