HIDDEN HISTORY: Obscure Obelisk Marks Sebastian's Original City Limits An early settler, who also built markers for Sebastian's cemetery, erected the 12-foot monument in the late 1920. It stands in the southeast corner of what is now Riverview Park.
Heathcote Botanical Gardens to host Ethnobotanical Day Drew Mello talks with AnnMarie Loveridge with the Florida Native Plant Society's Lackla's Mint St. Lucie Chapter. The society, along with Heathcote Botanical Gardens in Ft. Pierce, will be hosting Ethnobotanical Day on Saturday, October 17 at Heathcote. The day long educational forum will kick off an eco-art project called The Reclamation Project.
