The Big Drop
(2009-11-02)
(wpr) - It has been over two years since huge weights pounded the earth in Rock Springs. The so-called "Big Drop" was a state run project designed to collapse old mine shafts in the city. Several families in the area said that the weights started the ground moving and it hasn't stopped. They also say that the project has damaged or destroyed their homes. Now a study is out showing the ground is still moving in this area but Wyoming Public Radio's Renny MacKay reports there's no proof as to why. © Copyright 2009, wpr
