Cowboys Lose to Air Force 23-3
(2008-09-08)
(wpr) - The Wyoming Cowboys will need to find a way to score some points in practice this week, following a 23-3 loss to Air Force on Saturday.

Five turnovers did the Cowboys in on Saturday and it left running back Wynel Seldon frustrated. Seldon, who lost a fumble that led to a touchdown said that the Cowboys did many things well, but lost focus at key times.

Seldon and fellow runningback Devon Moore rain for a respectable 140 yards on the ground, but the offense could only manage 76 passing yards. Offensive coordinator Bob Cole says the poor play was just a one time thing, and he predicts that the offense will get better quickly. Seldon says he and others need to get the team refocused for this weekend's game against North Dakota State.

Head Coach Joe Glenn says while the offense is struggling, his defense played well. But they were forced to be on the field for too many minutes. The loss drops the Cowboys to one and one on the season.
