New Bill Would Cover Health Care for Parents of Kids in Kid Care LARAMIE, WY (wpr) - Laramie-based State senator Mike Massie says he will introduce a bill this legislative season to extend health coverage for working parents and guardians. Massie says the bill would encourage the state employers and the insured to share the cost with supplements from the federal government. Massie says the program would benefit the parents and guardians of children already covered by the Kid Care program and help their employers. However only a few thousand people would qualify for the program at first. Though Massie says more than twenty thousand would ultimately be eligible if the program works.
