Search resumes on the Grand for missing climber
This was after the rescue teams used helicopters to remove 16 other injured climbers last night. They were in the exposed mountains after a thunderstorm and lightning struck the area.
A hospital spokeswoman says all the climbers suffered injuries related to lightning strike, including minor trauma and burns.
A park spokeswoman says the 17th climber disappeared over a cliff on the west face of the 13,770-foot Grand Teton.
A helicopter and three park rangers who spent the night in a high-altitude hut planned to begin searching at first light where the climber was seen.
