As the U-S Senate gears up for an important Health Care vote this weekend, Senate Republicans are setting the stage by speaking out against the proposed legislation. Senator Mike Enzi was a member of two committees that crafted health care bills. He remains dissatisfied with the legislation saying that it will raise costs to consumers through new taxes, "Under this flawed bill if you take a prescription drug you will pay a new tax. If you use any medical devices or equipment from walkers to wheel chairs, you will pay a new tax. If you don't have health insurance you will pay a new tax, if you have health insurance you will pay a new tax and if the Government decides your health insurance is too expensive, ha, there will be a new tax for that just as well."Enzi says that they need to start over. He made his comments on the Senate floor. Democratic supporters of the bill say despite its up front price tag, the health care legislation will eventually lead to savings. The Senate is going to attempt a test vote on Saturday.
