FBI looking for suspect in attempted bank robbery LARAMIE, WY (wpr) - The FBI is searching for a man who tied up a bank employee during a robbery in Riverton.
FBI officials say the masked robber was armed with a handgun and confronted an employee who was opening the US Bank at about 7:40 Friday morning.
Special Agent Kathy Wright says the suspect tied up the employee but ended up leaving the scene without any money. The employee was not injured.
The FBI and Riverton police are investigating.
The FBI describes the suspect as 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He was driving a blue or gray newer model Ford Escape.
