Sweetwater voters asked to increase the number of County Commissioners
"We stretch from Bairoil to McKinnon, down in the southwest part of the county. But the other main reason is that we really need to end this impasse that happens with only three commissioners."
Corcoran says decision-making could be simpler and less contentious with five commissioners, and having five members also reduces the possibilities for collusion. The issue is the only question on the ballot in tomorrow's special election.

ROCK SPRINGS, WY
(wpr) -
Sweetwater County voters will decide tomorrow (Tuesday) whether they should have five county commissioners instead of three. A committee called "Time for Five" began organizing in March to gather signatures and put the question to a vote. Rock Springs City Council member Joyce Corcoran co-chairs the group. She says Sweetwater is the seventh largest county, geographically, in the lower 48 states, and that's a lot of area for three people to cover."We stretch from Bairoil to McKinnon, down in the southwest part of the county.
